These are the CBD Products I Trust

I get a zillion questions about the CBD products. It’s not surprising considering there’s so many bad products on the market. You really need to use caution when choosing CBD products.

How to Choose CBD Products

When shopping for CBD oil or other CBD products, you want to choose a high-quality product. You want products derived from hemp crops being grown in the US or Europe. You want to ensure your products are being batch tested by third-party labs so you know they aren’t contaminated with pesticides, heavy metals, and that they contain the amount of CBD they claim. And you want a brand that’s consistent in the products they offer.

Price point is a big consideration for most patients. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Please don’t buy $20 oil at the convenience store and expect therapeutic results. CBD oil is expensive to grow and process.

I use products extracted via two methods, supercritical CO2 extraction and ethanol extraction. Supercritical CO2 extracts usually have a cleaner taste, however this means the product is lacking flavanoids. Flavanoids do have therapeutic benefits. Ethanol extraction is very safe. The final product has a more intense earthy taste because it contains flavanoids.

If a CBD Product Doesn’t Work for You

If a specific CBD product doesn’t work for you, please consider trying another CBD product form a different brand, or a different method of consumption. Just like medical marijuana, different cultivars of CBD plants contain a different ratios of chemicals including minor cannabinoids and terpenes. All of these chemicals work together to produce therapeutic effects.

Start at a lower dose and increase slowly. Keep in mind, too much CBD has side effects.

Here’s a list of my favorite CBD brands and products.

Favorite CBD Oil: NurseGrown

Ethanol Extraction Method

NurseGrown is the CBD brand that I personally use. It’s a female-owned hemp company. The products are made from hemp that is literally grown by my friend and fellow nurse in Vermont. NurseGrown conducts the most comprehensive lab testing available. This assures every batch contains exactly what the label promises.

Not only do NurseGrown products feature exemplary testing, but they also have fantastic price points. If you’re looking for therapeutic CBD products, NurseGrown is my first choice.

Buy Nurse Grown CBD Oil. Nurse Grown also offers amazing CBD Capsules and CBD Topicals.

Bluebird Botanicals

Ethanol Extraction Method

Classic unadulterated CBD oil. The hemp taste of Bluebird Botanical’s products is a turn off for some, but they’re oil is high-quality and they have a good price point. Their classic oil contains a lot of chlorophyll leading to a strong earthy taste. Their complete oil is extracted from both raw and decarboxylated hemp and has an even stronger earthy taste. The complete oil is ideal for anyone interested in ingesting CBDA along with their CBD.

One of my favorite things about Bluebird Botanicals is their patient assistance program. They offer a discount program to Veterans, and individuals with a low-income or those on long-term disability.

ReLive CBD Gummies

Broad Spectrum (THC Removed) – Supercritical CO2 Extraction Method

If you want a truly DELICIOUS product, Re-Live is a great choice. Keep in mind, Re-Live’s products are “Broad Spectrum”. That means the THC has been removed using liquid chromatography. These gummies are THC-free.

Re-Live’s CBD gummies are delicious! I could easily eat the entire jar in one sitting. Please be careful not to over-consume, because too much CBD can cause uncomfortable side effects.
